Experts are warning us to be on our guard this autumn and winter. “There is likely to be a significant risk in some areas” says Dr Phil Skuce from Moredun. “We had a warm dry spring across much of the UK, but since June, a critical time for liver fluke,some areas e.g. West Wales, NW England and Central/Eastern Scotland have been significantly wetter than usual as the Met Office map shows”.
